I recently bought their 1 gallon and I was so happy to receive a well sized rose with seven stems! They did a really good job growing these as the stems were pretty thick.David Austin® The Cottage Rose®

🌹 A striking dark red Hybrid Tea rose with velvety blooms that stand out in the garden and vase alike.
Black Magic® is a dramatic Hybrid Tea rose introduced in 1995, celebrated for its intense, deep red flowers that can appear almost black in certain light. Its large, high-centered blooms carry 30–40 petals in a classic form that makes this rose both a garden standout and a favorite for cut flowers. Known for strong repeat blooming and striking color contrast with glossy, dark green foliage, Black Magic® brings bold elegance to beds, borders, and bouquets.

Watering: Regular watering, especially during establishment
Pruning: Prune in spring to shape and encourage vigorous bloom production
Maintenance: Moderate — may need help with pests or black spot in humid conditions
Before planting
Keep your rose in its pot in a sunny spot and water it well while you prepare the bed. Choose a place with at least six hours of sun and soil that drains well. Water the pot thoroughly an hour before planting.
Planting your potted rose
Dig a hole twice as wide as the pot and about as deep. Ease the rose out, loosen any circling roots and set it so the top of the root ball sits level with the ground. Backfill with garden soil mixed with compost, firm gently and water deeply.
First season watering and care
Water deeply two to three times a week through the first season, more often in hot weather, letting the top inch of soil dry between waterings. Mulch keeps the roots cool. Start feeding once new growth appears, and remove spent blooms to keep the flowers coming.
